The Leather

Cut from full-grain cowhide at 1.2mm, chrome-tanned, this leather is finished with wax to create its distinctive two-tone colouring — the wax takes unevenly across the panels by design, which is what produces the richer, deeper tone on the yoke and collar against the lighter body. This is a genuine leather-finishing technique, not a synthetic coating, so the contrast will continue to deepen naturally with wear rather than fading uniformly. Construction

The front closes with an antique brass YKK #8 zipper, while two front hand pockets use YKK #3 zippers for secure everyday storage alongside the chest flap pockets.
